Monday, October 28, 2024, Terror on Tillson Street (Rain Date: Tuesday October 29)

• 4:00 PM Meet at Dairy Queen (Van Dyke & Tillson Street) for before-dark terror shooters
• 5:30 PM Meet at Jayell Smoke House & BBQ (on Van Dyke in Romeo, 3 blocks north of Tillson Street) for dinner
• 7:00 PM Meet at Dairy Queen (Van Dyke & Tillson Street) for after-dark terror shooters

Saturday, November 2, 2024, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM: Lightroom Class

• When I offered this Lightroom Class before, there were members who could not attend. With that, and new members , I am offering it again on November 2
• An introduction to using Adobe Lightroom in your editing process.
  • 9:00 am to 3:30 pm 6 ½ hours with 15 minute break.
  • Shelby Township Activities Center
  • Cost per person $40
  • Min of 5 students Max 12
• We will explore the following:
  • Tour of the workspace.
  • Explain the Catalog and file functions.
  • Basic import of images into Lightroom.
  • Using the Rating methods to manage images.
  • Introduction to the editing functions in the Develop Module.
  • Exporting your images.
• This class is meant to be a hands-on experience class. You would need to bring a laptop with the current version of Lightroom installed. I will provide images to use in the class for you to edit at that time. If you do not have Lightroom or the current version, Adobe allows a trial install for 30 days.
• I have been teaching photographers to use this amazing program for 15 years both at Midwest Photography Workshops and Schoolcraft College.

Tentative: Mid March, 2025: Lexus Velodrome [Photos Submitted from last 2024's Lexus Velodrome Group Shoot]. Photograph fast-moving racing bikes in this low-light setting. Search Youtube beforehand for panning photography techniques to improve your chances for a great photo.
